The Survivor Simulator now has a blog.
I decided to make a quick blog to better interact with users. The layout isn’t great. I’ll improve it someday and probably synchronize it with the layout of the actual Simulator for a more unified site.
The Survivor Simulator is a personal project I began last fall. I started watching Survivor during the first season in 2000. I was 10 years old. 13 years later, I’m still a fan. My goal with the simulator is to provide a completely random simulation following the actual format of each season of the show. In the process of doing this, I’ve tried adding some fun elements such as the “Custom” mode where a fully custom cast can be selected with every castaway that has ever played. I have a general direction in mind for the future, but it’s flexible and I’ll take user feedback and try to incorporate what you want.
I’ll be making a post soon detailing the three new simulation modes I want to introduce in the future. As updates come, I’ll post details about them. There are pages on this blog for each season with details about their twists and what I still need to add. All of the pages will allow you to provide comments that I’ll see right away. There is also a specific page for bugs and a specific page for feature requests.
I look forward to hearing any feedback. Happy simulating!
